I can't write enough about how much I love my dress. I had under 2 months to plan my wedding, although it was done in court, I wanted to humor my untraditional self by following the tradition of wearing a dress. I would not be caught dead in a white dress, Bete Noire had everything my gothic heart desired.
Seeing that the Sacred Glamour Gown would be shipped within 30 days I measured myself and placed my order. I feared the measurements would be off, my body type is odd and it's difficult to find clothing that fits without adjustments.
My dress arrived on time and once I tried it on, I fell in love. The dress fit me perfectly, I didn't take into account that the cup size was larger than the boobs I have, but I had time to find a solution. I pinned the bust with gold safety pins and affixed a gold cobra brooch, which matched my dress perfectly. I also ordered the Bereavement Statement necklace, which tied everything together perfectly.
Despite having a court wedding, I felt I deserve to dress up and feel like a magical, gothic queen on my big day.
My dress and necklace made such a bold statement at the courthouse, I was the envy of all my friends for once. I paired my dress with a beautiful red and black rose bouquet, my husband also dressed in all black with a red tie, we looked as amazing as we felt.
I am somewhat frugal when it comes to clothing that is worn once or twice in a lifetime, but I couldn't be frugal with this dress. It was very affordable, stylish, comfortable, and fit to my exact measurements.
I only wish Bete Noire sold shoes to go with their gorgeous gowns, but overall, everything about this shop is to die for.
